Susquehanna River Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program (HMTAP)

Fisher Associates completed the required field survey of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, south of the New York State line, in support of the eventual completion of updating of the Flood Insurance Rate Maps for this stretch of water.
As defined within the FEMA Guidelines and Specifications for Flood Mapping Partners, Fisher Associates completed the required measurements at cross sections and bridge structures as identified by the prime consultant’s hydraulic engineers. A map book with digital ortho-photogrammetric backgrounds was used to expedite data collection.
