New York State Police Training Facility
Town of Romulus
Fisher Associates was the prime consultant from start to finish on this Post 9-11Regional Emergency Training Facility project. Consultant services for this multi-emergency provider facility included grant writing assistance and preliminary engineering; conceptual site design; coordination of architectural programming/design and building engineering; design of site improvements including nearly one mile of new water main, a sanitary waste disposal system, parking lots and roadways; and site work associated with a new smoke training tower. In addition to design functions and preparation of bidding documents, Fisher Associates provided support for bidding and award as well as construction-related tasks such as inspection and engineering consultation. This project will allow the NYS Police to utilize the former airstrip for a training track for law enforcement tactical maneuvers and to reuse the rifle range and other buildings for assorted training activities.
