SUNY Morrisville Asbestos Sampling
Fisher Associates sampled those materials suspect of being asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that have the potential for being disturbed during the installation of new fire alarm systems at eight buildings at the SUNY Morrisville campus. Our environmental services included review of available record plan drawings and ACM management reports for the structures. Our staff then conducted a site reconnaissance to collect representative, potential ACMs samples for analytical testing. Collected samples were submitted to a New York approved laboratory for testing using PLM and TEM methods, then the laboratory data was reviewed and complied. We prepared a report summarizing on-site activities, presenting the analytical laboratory test results and a location summary, quantity of ACM, and prepared abatement cost estimates. Fisher Associates also prepared construction documents including ACM abatement drawings, a Site Specific Variance (SSV) for abatement, and technical specifications
