Chemung Canal Trust Company Traffic Impact Study

A traffic impact study was provided for the proposed bank located in Ithaca, NY at the busy corners of Hanshaw & Pleasant Grove. We conducted a capacity analysis using Synchro software to assess traffic operations for the existing, background, and proposed conditions. The site required complex modeling due to two closely spaced intersections in a commercial district with interconnected access roads. The assessment identified mitigation necessary to provide efficient traffic flow at the site access points and surrounding roadway network.
