Pedestrian and Bicycle Traffic
In a multi modal setting where there is a mingling of pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles, Fisher Associates can help ensure that the traveling needs of all these groups are met. For pedestrians, we examine if their key concerns are addressed. Walking speed, walkway width, the amount of space per person, delays at any traffic signals, and pedestrian flow rate are analyzed.
Have you determined if your paths provide a high level of comfort, convenience, and service from the perspective of a bicyclist? We can examine the amount of “travel lanes” in which bicyclists have room to maneuver.
