Traffic Capabilities
Traffic planning and engineering provides project guidance and recommendations from the initial planning stages through final detailed design. Traffic impacts are evaluated for the site and the adjacent roadway network by analyzing existing intersections that will experience increased traffic due to the proposed traffic distribution. The goal is to identify feasible mitigation to minimize impacts to the local roadway while enhancing internal traffic circulation.
The approval process can be enhanced and accelerated with the use of Visualization - a detailed 3D simulation that combines the physical environment and actual traffic operations to create one complete presentation package. It provides a dynamic and interactive virtual project to help people see and understand the project before it is built. Visualization can be extremely valuable in gaining quick project approvals thereby saving valuable time and money.
