Highway Group Manager

Professional Engineer needed to manage the highway design group. The position requires providing direction and oversight of internal design staff. In addition, the position requires coordination and communication with clients, and regulatory and approving agencies.

Minimum qualifications include:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and 15 years transportation experience.
• New York State Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain NYS license
• Integrity, people skills and a team spirit
• Project management experience, including project profit and loss management and personnel management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Highway Design Engineer

Full time position in our Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse Office for a Design Engineer with 4 - 10 years of transportation related experience. Must be able to design and prepare plans for all aspects of highway projects. Complete understanding of MicroStation is a must; understanding of AutoCAD a plus. Knowledge of drainage design also a plus. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Engineering Technician

Full time position in the Highway Group of our Rochester Office for an entry level Engineering Technician. This person must be a self motivator looking to join a full service engineering and surveying firm. You will work in a dynamic, challenging environment on a variety of engineering related tasks. Excellent computer skills is a must. Understanding of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
