Accounting Clerk - Part Time

Individual needed to perform a variety of general accounting support tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payroll, General Ledger, Job Costing, Filing, etc.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
  • Enter data into computer system using accounting software.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
  • Reconcile records with internal company employees, management, external vendors or customers.
  • Data research.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Competency in computerized software systems and Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills as well as pay great attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced atmosphere as well as be able to multi-task.
  • Requires 2 years of experience with accounting and accounting software.
  • Two year Degree in Accounting.

This opening in our Rochester Office will start out at 24 hours/week with a potential to grow to a full time position. Part Time Benefits Available.
